Keep a spray bottle filled with luke warm water handy. Dampen the hair and then section your hair in at least 4-8 sections based on what feels manageable. Take a section at a time, and clasp the section in between your palms and use a downward motion to detangle hair and remove shed hair. You can take your time to detangle your hair in this way or saturate the hair with water and conditioner and detangle from ends-to-root with your fingers, a wide toothed comb, or a brush. After detangling, apply a very small amount of light leave-in conditioner or directly follow with a small-sized amount of the Waridi whipped butter, Make sure to rub the product in between palm before working it through the section of hair in a downward motion between clasp palms. You may leave the hair as is, or twist that section to lock in moisture for longer.
Absolutely, all our ingredients are safe and beneficial to hair as well as skin and the Waridi Whipped butter aids in moisturizing dry skin problems as it is Shea Butter based. Shea butter is a naturally occurring fat extract from the Shea tree and can help combat dry skin areas such as hands, elbows, and feet. The Waridi Whipped Butter is also water-based and gets its hydrating qualities from water. However, we DO NOT recommend use of the product on the face.
You may use the Peppermint and Rosemary oil Elixir as a scalp massage oil by rubbing a small amount between your palms and gently massaging your scalp using your fingertips in slow circular motions. This can be done before a wash on damp hair or as is required. You may also use it as a hot oil treatment by placing the bottle in a hot water bath to warm the product and then work the warm oil into damp hair from root to tip and letting it sit under a shower cap for about 20 minutes before proceeding to wash your hair. You may also use it to seal in moisture in your hair after dampening hair with water or a leave-in conditioner.
The Peppermint and Rosemary Oil Elixir was designed with the itchy and flaky scalp in mind and is recommended for use on hair and scalp. It may, however, be used as a foot massage after a warm soak in water to relieve dry and tired feet due to the refreshing aspect of the Peppermint essential oils and the healing and anti-inflammatory properties of the Rosemary and Tea tree essential oils.
Our products are all-natural based and only contain plant-based preservatives. L.O.C stands for Liquid, Oil and cream, which consists of applying a hydrating liquid, then an oil and then a cream to moisturize your hair. This helps in keeping your hair soft and moisturized for longer. You would need to repeat this process every few days or as needed.
Yes you can!
Step 1: Section your hair in at least 8 sections. Using the base of your fingers use a downward motion to detangle hair and remove shed hair.
After detangling, lightly spray or dampen your hair with a hydrating liquid of your choice. Water on Its own or a water– based leave conditioner will do as the “L” or liquid part of the L.O.C method.
Step 2 & 3: As the AJANI Handmade Waridi Whipped butter has the benefits of oil and Shea butter, and the consistency of a cream, you can use it as a 2 in 1 as the final parts of the “ O” (oil) and “C” (cream) method. This is suited for those who are not keen on product build-up. Alternatively you can separately use the Peppermint and Rosemary Oil Elixir as the “O” (oil) and the Waridi Whipped butter as the final step, the “C” (cream) step in the L.O.C Method
Apply a small amount to each section of detangled and dampened hair. Work upwards from tip to root and twist the section.
